Just beyond the city of Miami, the sleepy Florida Everglades ecosystem lies in the southern Glades near the picturesque Manatee Bay. And thanks to South Dade Marina and Eco tours it’s easy to take to the water and explore the local wildlife.
In deeper waters, you might encounter manatees and dolphins, while the shallow sea-grass flats are home to fish, wading birds, and sea turtles. And since kayaks are more navigable than other larger boats, you’ll gain unencumbered access to the narrow, gnarled mangrove passages, where crabs and other wildlife splash about
Kayak the Everglades ecosystem at the top of the Florida Keys.
The crew at South Dade Marina and Eco Adventures has one mission: to get more people out and enjoying the local waterways, the Florida Everglades and serenity of kayaking. Storing, hauling, unloading, reloading, cleaning, and putting their own kayaks away can deter people from boating. South Dade Marina and Eco Adventures team takes the work out so you are left with the joy. All equipment necessary for a leisurely paddle are supplied without the hassles.
We keep the aquatic adventure accessible for all. We rent only kayaks that can be piloted by anyone, experienced or not. We give visitors tips on paddling and safety techniques and sell new and used kayaks and accessories. Enjoy a scenery paddle into the peace of your mind.
